Mark Murrell is the co-founder of CarriersEdge and co-creator of the Best Fleets to Drive For program. A veteran of the education technology industry, Mark has delivered training and performance improvement solutions to more than 3 million people at companies around the world, in industry sectors as diverse as transportation, mining, manufacturing, finance, hi-tech, retail, and government services.
With the launch of CarriersEdge in 2005, and Best Fleets to Drive For in 2008, Mark has focused on helping North American trucking companies improve the overall quality of their drivers and is an active speaker and industry advocate.
Phil started with ACT in May 2006. He has served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources Safety and later as Chief Operating Officer. He added President to his title in August 2016. He has 25+ years of experience in sales, marketing, and human resources working in positions of Director of Human Resources, Director Employee Development, Sales Manager, and Brand Manager. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. Phil serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the Missouri Trucking Association. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Education. Phil and his wife Tracy have two children and reside in Liberty, Missouri.
